Congratulations to Elliott and team for winning the people’s choice award for a 3 minute pitch detailing the therapeutic potential of using targeted vagus nerve stimulation to treat type 1 diabetes.
Designing a bioelectronic treatment for Type 1 diabetes: targeted parasympathetic modulation of insulin secretion was published on July 28th. It focuses on using electrical nerve stimulation to control pancreatic endocrine functions and ultimately control blood glucose.
