- January, 2011: The NPRLab, in collaboration with Dr. Panitch at Purdue and a strong team at the University of Wisconsin was awarded for their proposal to DARPA entitled “NORMAL AND ACCELERATED FAILURE ASSESSMENT OF NEW QUANTITATIVE IN VITRO AND IN VIVO NEURAL INTERFACES”.
- This 3 year, $1.9M project will seek to understand, propagate, and mitigate device-tissue interface failure for chronic microelectrodes in the central nervous system.
